Garth is BACK!

He's BACK!

GARTH BROOKS WILL PLAY the LAS VEGAS Encore Hotel & Casino! It will be a one man show (just Garth and his guitar) for 5 years, 15 weeks/yr and all tickets will be $125! The shows will start during the second weekend of the National Finals Rodeo (Dec.11). All shows will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so Garth will be able to remain a major part of his daughters' lives and fulfill a promise to them to be there, at home, until they were all 18 and in college.

Tickets go on-sale Saturday, October 24. Steve Wynn, the owner of the Encore Casino, has pledged to take "evasive action" away from ticket scalpers so ticket prices don't get driven to extreme levels.

Garth Brooks originally retired after his 1996, 1997, 1998 World Tour.

In their debut CMA Awards performance, Grammy-nominated rock band Daughtry joins Country Music Hall of Fame member Gill for a duet of "Tennessee Line," which the superstars recorded together for Daughtry's new album, Leave This Town. That album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart in July, becoming the group's second consecutive album to top the charts. Daughtry's self-titled first album, released in 2006, was the quickest-selling rock debut album in SoundScan history, selling more than five million copies worldwide.
